Be American

As some of you know, I have been out of the country.  Nothing gives one a sense of the quality of life in America more than traveling outside.  Beyond the quality of life, there is still the sense that America is the destination of others wishing to take advantage of the opportunities in this nation.  This is different from non-Americans seeking to take advantage of the wealth of this nation.

There is a difference between the opportunities this nation has to offer and the wealth it possesses.

Too often, lately, the objective has been to come to America to obtain some of its wealth, through any means, preferably without effort; as "payback", maybe for transgressions of the past. I find this repulsive.

President Obama, with his "amnesty" and with the cooperation of the Republican Party (how well did that vote go for you all?) has encouraged the wrong type of people to seek citizenship.  There are tons of Pakistanis who would love to come to this nation in search of a better life, of better pay, even of better social customs, who would work, gladly, to get the sort of opportunities being offered freely to those who DO NOT respect America, Americans or our "traditional system". These are not just manual labor emigres, but skilled emigres. Pakistanis, however, cannot come to America because of 9/11.

America is special, even to those who hate it. They hate it because it is successful, because it is largely Christian, because it is the pinnacle.  Any nation at the pinnacle of power is going to receive criticism.  Russia (prior to the plunge in oil revenues) was starting to receive the sort of criticism America has endured for centuries.

When America is criticized, it is out of envy.  That is the truth.  Britain criticizes America largely because the best of the Brits (intellectually) rebelled against the King.  Does anyone remember the names of the political figures on the British side? No, they don't.  But, everyone remembers the political figures on the American side of the conflict.  Not just Americans, but people worldwide.

People worldwide respect America, therefore, they criticize America.  It is the fact that they all know, they all point to; there is a common source of reference that they can criticize. Criticism is a part of knowlegdge.

One cannot criticize what they do not know, therfore one might criticize what they DO know and therefore, what someone criticizes, someone knows.  Criticism, therefeore, suggests knowledge, while that may or may or not be true, it is accepted and that is the crucial misunderstanding between knowledge and knowledge.

Having been in the Middle-East, let me explain from a knowledgeable point of view that while America is still respected and admired for its abilities and accomplishments, it is also a common point of discussion.  What is the point of discussion if not to criticize?  Truly, is there some point of specific knowledge that you have that you are not quick to criticize, to demonstrate your depth of knowledge? Is it a mark of expertise that you criticize that of which you are knowledgeable? Is that not right?

So, to establish oneself as a sophisticate, one must criticize America, the leader of the world, in order to be heard amongst the rabble.

Go on America, be bold, be resistant, be AMERICAN.

For the People and the Nation

Let me put this another way: no one takes the three percenters seriously, because when it comes down to showing the power behind the numbers everyone employs the "it's better to prep and be prepared than to stand up and delcare oneself openly" angle.

Okay, I get that, I understand that your tribe is more important than the demonstration; that remaining hidden is better than standing up with a target on your chest.

Let me be very blunt:every great battle plan in the history of the world was good for about 2 seconds after contact with the enemy. Just because you think you know how it is all going to go down, you don't. Embrace it, do everything you can to prevent it, because when it does, you are not going to be prepared.

This is not a swipe at preppers, I don't have a beef with preppers, or survivalists, or any faction of the Patriot/Liberty movement. I'm grateful that there is one. I think whatever you are doing to prepare for the obvious is commendable and something I readily do myself, but I am not fooled into thinking that I am prepared for what is coming. I am prepared for a little bit, or the first few weeks of the festivities, but here is the crux for me: what is going to transpire in those darkest days that will steer us toward liberty?

Nothing.

The history of the world is one of black hearts and black deeds. If a well armed and supported squad is detailed to your location, I don't care how much ammo you have, how much food you have in storage, how deep your bunker is, one well-targeted modern system will destroy it and you and everyone you care about.

The kicker is, even if you survive and emerge from your preps unscathed, what will you be emerging to? It will be a world identical to Stalin's Soviet Union. You will be targeted as a resistor and hurried off to a death camp, because liberty and the very concept of it will have been erased decades before you went into your hole. Yes, that means a decade ago it began its inevitable march toward despotism: the world's natural order.

And, you will ask yourself, in your filthy new environs: "Where is God?"

The toughest thing for everyone in this movement to understand is that they are not the saviors, they are the sacrifice. The saviors will come later; they will be our children's children fueled by stories from us about what liberty is and why it is worth fighting and dying for, but it will not be us. They will have grown up in a world without it; hostile toward it.

I have long ago disabused myself of the notion that I will get to see the new awakening, the new thirst for liberty. It will not happen in my lifetime. Those who follow, if taught properly, will endure the holocaust of their parents and grandparents and will be fueled by vengeance and the righteousness of liberty. That alone will give them the resolve that we lack.

Liberty is not dying, it is dead. What remains is a fairy tale. The American Indian and the descendants of slaves know of this enduring pain from having lost to the irresistible force of a nation dedicated to their submission. Centuries later, the fire burns deep within for vengeance. It is this fire that will fuel our descendants in later times. God will be there for them, because they will have the resolve.

The idea of Threeper Day whether it is decided to land on 3-3 or January 11 (111) might sound a bit too little, a bit too late, but the idea, the concept of it is to give our posterity a rally cry, to give them a focal point. It is for them, the displaced, orphaned among them who know there was once a light shining on the planet brighter than all of the others. It was a moment of self-government; of ideals being greater than sheer power and force. It was greater than the depressing and oppressing dictates of the elites. There was a time when America stood as the beacon to the rest of the world, not as it is today, just one more nation among the hundreds guided by despots and gangsters. There was a time when it was ruled by those of principle, who recognized that winning was not as important as how the game was played. It was a time when losing, no matter how brutal the sting, could be seen as a victory for the people and the nation.

The struggle for America did not begin in 1776, it began much earlier in ancient Greece and Rome when the very concept of choosing a leader was formulated. Perhaps such a system comes with an expiration date. So be it. Let it also come with a renewal date.

The ultimate battle will not come between us as citizens of the United States, it will come from abroad, when we are weak and those planning our weakness are also planning our subjugation to those foreign powers. They are allied with them already, designing our defeat and securing their place in the new system. That nation as we have known it is already gone. If prepping is to be done, it should be directed toward the second revolution long after we have passed.

3-3 is Threeper Day: Celebrate It

We all know we have been sold down the river by a government intent on changing America into something else; something heartless and cold. Though they couch it in touchy-feely verbiage and use phrases that can only be translated into hostility toward traditional America and Americans, phrases like: cultural sensitivity, diversity and equality (that the African-American community has recently found out does not mean them after all, it means the newest, strongest voting block: the illegal immigrants from south of the border).

Let me reach out to my African-American friends, whom I count as many, who have expressed to me their dismay that Barack Obama has decided that he may have needed the black vote to put him into office, but he does not need them to keep him in office. Now that he has run his last campaign, he doesn't need their vote and has turned his attention to shoring up the Democratic Party. Some blacks are starting to understand that Barack Obama is not an African American as much as he is a politician. The billions he has spent and will continue to spend on cultivating the illegal immigrant vote works to the detriment of the African-American and he doesn't care. Barack Obama is interested in securing the Latino vote for Democrats and will take food out of the mouths of the black voter to do it. He has done it already. He is sending them to college with money better spent on keeping his supporters fed and clothed.

Sincerely, you have been hoodwinked, but that is the folly of the whole system. White people vote for people who will help them maintain their power and their advantage. This is why it is stupid to vote along racial lines; none of the politicians are out to help the people. They have but one goal: to have access to the power of government. End of story. They only play one against the other to get their hands on the power of government and that is the end for them. Yes, every few years they have to promise what they promised last time and pretend that someone evil in government is preventing them from delivering on their promises, but with all due respect, if you believe they ever intended to live up to their promises you are a fool. Sorry, deal with it and act accordingly.

For those in the III community (black, white, Latino or Asian and yes, despite the defamation of the major media the III is made up of American patriots of all races who recognize that what brought peace and security to the United States was its economic and military strength produced by a market economy and liberty to pursue one's own dreams free from government control and interference) there is a way to demonstrate what we all know: that there are many more of us out there than can be quantified by any march, or demonstration.

I propose that we take the date of March 3rd (3-3) as Threeper Day and use it to raise awareness of our grievances. I don't care what form that takes: protests, demonstrations or cookouts. I don't care if it is a day at the range or something a bit more sensational. Use it as a date to schedule your PatCon, or to distribute literature.

We all know that around this country there are good, honest patriots of all stripes, races and religions who know that bad things are coming. Many of these individuals are inactive, waiting for the second shoe to drop; watching the economy and the actions of government; watching the growing power of the police state. They are watching the FEMA camps being erected, they know that the government has recently purchased guillotines  for heaven's sake, what could that be used for? Chickens? They know that troops are being sent to enforce quarantines in other nations facing the Ebola outbreak and they wonder what is in store for them. They wonder what flag will be flown over their demise.

Many of us have struggled for the past decade to wake up those who have been watching from the sidelines, waiting for the time when they will be called on to defend their tribe. I would like to see 3-3 become that common ground upon which we can all come out of the closet, step away from the television and get out and interact with those more active in the struggle to restore liberty and put an end to the ceaseless attack on our privacy, our lives and our culture.

If this idea appeals to you, please share it. Use the day to reach out to others, to publicize our grievances and to demonstrate that those watching from the shadows are not alone, are not crazy and do not deserve ridicule.

Willing Demons

What is the United States? It is not a republic as it follows no semblence of its Constitution, the very foundation of its power, of its authority. It is a system of terror, with the power to destroy lives with contrived charges; offhandedly encumbering citizens with debt and criminal charges on a whim. This is the very system our forefather's fled and risked everything to resist. In effect, they have taken our citizenship, robbed us of our birthright.

Yet, we do not fight.

Freedom? They watch us as if we are all suspects. Cameras are everywhere; software tracks us; our new vehicles and cell phones will tell them where we are at any given moment. Our writings are recorded and available as evidence against us though no charges have been filed. The result of these intrusions into our lives will become the evidence upon which they will seek a warrant. That cannot be more backward from the intent of the Constitution.

Yet, we do not fight.

Enemies of the people are encouraged to roam free among us, often at the informal invitation of the government. Our borders are not secure, there is no will to discriminate between honest immigrants seeking a better life and those intent on victimizing legal and legitimate citizens of the United States.

Yet, we do not fight.

Our economy, the very power that denies enemies to risk war on these shores, is no better than it was in 2009. Every figure compiled by the government is a ruse, it is fraud to mollify the people. Politicians lie and contrive to further the fraud to secure their own power with no regard for the dangerous waters they have navigated at our expense.

Yet, we do not fight.

The tax-paying citizens of this nation intent on doing right and living within the laws have been targeted by the very government they support. They have become the villains while true enemies have been coddled and encouraged. Every aspect of their lives have come under attack; their budgets, their religions, their privacy, their pastimes and their associations. Anything that will undermine the society of the typical American has become taboo, while all manner of deviance and decadence has been promoted; cheered on to success.

Yet, we do not fight.

If the ideals of life, liberty and property are not worth defending with our lives, we deserve none of them and have proved it with our inaction over the past ten years. There is not a single representative, senator, president or supreme court justice in office today who has not committed treason. Not one.

Vote? Are you kidding me? There is no reason, beyond societal suicide, to vote for anyone willing to seek the office. It is a vote to destroy yourself; to forfeit your wealth; to eliminate your job; to incur the wrath of a jealous and vengeful government, because a government unloosed from those noble principles upon which this nation was founded can become nothing more than an evil among us and those seeking office its willing demons.

The only thing left to do is fight. Though it is much easier to believe in unicorns and watch TV.

Lighting Fuses

In the previous post it appeared to many readers that I was encouraging like actions as those taken by the Millers. That was not my intent, but we are on a dangerous road as the police departments get more militarized, begin to see civilians as targets and with a Presidential administration that is bent on pursuing this theme of "domestic terrorists" as an evil with which it must deal. You understand that many police officers fall into that category by virtue of being veterans, Christians and believers in the Constitution. Just, please God, consider that for a moment. You, as well as I, might be considered enemies of the United States for believing stridently in the founding document of the United States. Your turn will come after you are ordered to shoot as many people like me as you can.

Perhaps you have enough cover on the force that they would never come after you, but they will come after people like me, who will not blanch in the face of pressure. My beliefs in God and the Constitution are solid, that will never change and if those things make me a target, well I will have to deal with it, but you are looking at yourself as an individual suddenly targeted by psychotics and feel uncomfortable. Trust me, it is a much different feeling when you see some of those psychotics driving around in police cruisers, with the weapons, law and society on theirs side. Not all, surely, but enough. Did you know that a police officer is 137 times more likely to be guilty of misconduct severe enough to warrant a news story than of being killed in the line of duty? That is one in five. Now, what are my chances of encountering a cop who is willing to commit misconduct severe enough to warrant a news story? 1 in 5. I think I have a lot more to worry about than you. I mean, in my line of work, I put my life on the line every day as well. I can't even begin to count the close calls, not of mere disfigurement, but death. I accept that and I assume you have as well.

Of course there are no absolutes, but I don't know which one will turn their eye on me on behalf of a police department owning many thousands of gifts to the current administration in the form of military-style vehicles and weapons including snipers and night vision goggles.

No, I am not cowering inside my home for having written the previous post, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction, but it is nearing the time when you will have to decide whether you are on your employer's side, or the side of liberty.

I risk a lot writing this blog, but I consider it a duty to express the frustration and outright illegality going on as commonplace in the world of government. I have suffered the wrath of the government already in my journey of patriotism, so I am not confused as to whether I have been targeted or not. I don't care, because my right to free speech is as dear as the right to bear arms. Put me in jail if you must, kill me if you think it will get you a promotion, but do not mistake your role in the affair.

Don't take my word for it, the bad cops are running loose in society with guns and badges we gave them, go here. It is, at best, an epidemic. There were seven convictions in May alone and we have to figure in that these were just the ones to get caught, run through the process and eventually convicted. How many get away? How many criminals get away rather than convicted? How much harder is it to get a conviction against a cop?

Having said that, the police officers and deputies that frequent this blog are like all who consider themselves defenders of personal rights, good, decent, hard-working people. I don't mean to besmirch them all, but the odds are not good. These are truths that must be faced in order to begin a restoration of the proper order of things. It will take a critical look at the facts and make some judgments and maybe take action against it.

At some point the good cops have to take some responsibility. Yes, the link above shows that the system can work, but my point is the system must work or it breeds people like the Millers. I daresay that it is breeding them much faster than is imagined. An escalation of force can do nothing other than make martyrs and breed resistance. It is hard for cops to recognize that while they might have all of the armor, the tanks, the SWAT teams it wants, a few motivated people who feel the injustice of the system can do unprecedented damage to society as a whole.

My advice is to back off, reassess the trajectory of militarization of your forces and the message it sends to everyone who values their rights. If you light enough fuses a few bombs are liable to go off.

The Miller Dilemma

Jared and Amanda Miller finally gave the feds the excuse they were looking for to put all of us "domestic terrorists" on notice. It was bound to happen wasn't it? And now the post I made only yesterday asks the question of today. Do we have the ability, as a movement, to stomach the sort of thing the Millers did and still stand by our previous statements? Who knows if they were white supremacists, how can anyone know for sure? They draped the cops body with a Swastika, does that say something about them, or the cops? Who are the Nazis in this scenario?

See, how do we, as a community, deal with this act? We know who the cops are; what they are willing to do to innocent citizens. I don't agree with white supremacy. I don't agree with racism. I don't agree with flash-banging a baby in his crib either.

At the Bundy Ranch the feds were willing to unleash snipers. On who? Grass poachers? The Millers are not innocent, possibly racists, perhaps that is what got them kicked out of Bundy's Ranch and rightly so in my book, but like them or not, we just got associated with them and as far as the cops are concerned they are free to kill our families; our babies, to justify their bloodthirsty desire for retribution.

I know the tendency is to back away from the Millers, to let them swing alone, but their rage was not created out of racism, or anti-government conspiracy theories. It was created out of armored cars and militarized police departments encouraging the type of tactics that make the deaths of innocents almost guaranteed. We have all seen the hundreds of cases a year of extreme police brutality and hardly ever a legal case brought against those guilty of what can only be described as executions.

If anything pushed the Millers to do what they did it wasn't the "patriot community" (as several news stories claim, using that particular term that I have probably used a few thousand times and never heard it used in a news story before). What does that tell you? Anyone who identifies themselves with that term is now a target of retribution. They were also connected somehow to the militia and I doubt seriously if they had ever had contact with the militia outside of Bundy Ranch.

I know this will not be a popular post. I know there are several police officers and deputies who read this blog, so let me be very clear here. It is not a question of whether I support the Millers for their act any more than it is a question of whether they support the deputies who flash-banged a toddler in his crib in Georgia.

There is also a distinction to be made. Yes, cops risk their lives and many, many times in arresting true criminals, murderers, thieves, gang members and rapists. That conscious decision to engage these criminals takes courage and they deserve our respect, but they chose that occupation; they knew the risks and assumed them. In this case a couple of officers were killed with, as far as I know, no connection to the Bundy Ranch, or other acts of overt, criminal oppression, but they tolerated in their midst bad cops and probably said nothing, perhaps laughed at their antics of cruelty.

A child in a crib did none of these things and suffered the same fate (even though the child in GA did not die). It was sleeping in a crib for heaven's sake and got flash-banged by eager, arrogant, careless and ruthless men with badges. I know the life of a baby means nothing to the media, they report on them every day, they encourage abortion and see nothing valuable in the state of innocence of a child, but I do.

That distinction is critical to understanding the difference between the causes of one death and the senseless death of another. It is the difference between understanding that one makes themselves a target by their complicity to corruption and brutality and not understanding what a baby in a crib could possibly be complicit in.

The feds have put me in association with the Millers, because they want me there. It gives them a reason to kill me and my family without regret, remorse or anything, except a high five. If that is you, if you recognize yourself in these words, you do not deserve my respect and I will not feel sadness at your passing.

You cannot continue to take citizen's lives so lightly and expect them to cherish yours. The police department is supposed to be a cooperation between citizens and those expected to enforce the laws the people have designed to order a civil society. When the police turn their power against the people they cannot expect and do not deserve the support of the people. If that manifests itself in acts as committed by the Millers, only the police have the ability to reverse the trend.

Solitary Journey

Are you a Three-Percenter? Really? Are there conditions upon which you will act? Are there things you will not do? Are there methods or tactics you refuse to utilize in the fight for liberty? Yes, there are. Rationally, the good people of the patriot community are some of the best human beings I have ever met. They are upright, honest and decent people. They are earnest and dedicated and as such, they are not evil enough to succeed in the upcoming fight. They are not organized, they are not criminal, they are not psychopaths and as such they are not capable of the type of horror that is required to vanquish an evil and psychopathic foe.

This is not the Revolutionary War. We do not have monied interests on our side. The monied interests are the corporations that understand how to do business with the corrupt governments of the world. They would rather buy their waivers and concessions than fight for a liberty they do not even want. They want corruption. Corruption helps them to disadvantage their competitors and purchase advantages for themselves. In 1776, some of the monied interests understood that they could get a better deal with a new and naive United States than they could with the King of England. America was a distant continent with advantages as an independent nation and they took a gamble. They don't have to gamble anymore, because the riches have alread been distributed.

I am convinced that the world is about to revolve. This is not a unique perspective, anyone with a mind will come up with that conviction. What I add to that observation is that liberty will not survive the fight, no matter who wins. We don't have it now and we won't have it in the future.

Having said that, I want to fight for it. I will gladly die for it, because I don't want to live in a world with every possibility of liberty extinguished. I am not brave. I am not a leader. I am not a survivor. I am just a guy with a set of limits and when those limits are reached I will react. This is not speculation, it has happened many times before when I had no chance to win and I have suffered the consequences. I did not regret it, even when it cost me everything. So, you might wonder about it, but I don't and to be honest, I don't care what you think. I'm the only one who counts in the matter.

So, let's do it: let's start a III organization; let's go to Pat Cons. I'm with you every step of the way, but when it comes down to it mine is a solitary journey, because my journey is not synchronized with yours; mine is not contingent upon yours; mine is not in sympathy with yours. But, if I reach my limit at the right time and place, mine might (I sincerely hope it does) benefit yours.

Retribution

The past few weeks have been a time of serious re-evaluation. One might only endure a certain amount of outrage before the term loses its meaning; before the outrage becomes merely rage with no means of expression that will not move that line of demarcation between action and consequence to the fore.

I have not revealed my philosophy concerning the coming counter-revolution in the past simply because it would classify me as one thing or another. People always draw the wrong conclusions. They leap headlong into a definition that suits their opinions and always to the detriment of actual understanding. Karl Popper, an Austrian philosopher and economics professor said a few things that strike me as true, one of them is the statement: Always remember that it is impossible to speak in such a way that you cannot be misunderstood. The other is this: You can choose whatever name you like for the two types of government. I personally call the type of government which can be removed without violence Democracy and the other Tyranny.

Voting Republican will not remove the government. It will not repeal Obamacare, the Patriot Act, the offending clause of the NDAA or any of the things Republicans promise in exchange for your vote. There will be no reversal of NSA spying, or IRS intimidation, because the government relies on these things to keep us all in line. Patriots are a threat to the government, whoever is in charge of its offices. The Bundy Ranch was attacked by every administration from the first Bush on down. That should tell you something, so when a person is offered the right to vote with no possibility of change, the vote has no value. Voting Republican will only prolong the increasing injustices.

There is no answer other than the determination of a small band of patriots dedicated to the ideals embodied within the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. But, these documents are not sacrosanct, they are not perfect. They cannot protect the citizen from evil done to them under their authority. That role is reserved to the people, the militia, the unorganized militia; it is reserved to those who will go against all odds to enforce them with arms. That is the only Constitutional remedy.

This is a fight, a war against the politicians who have twisted the laws to turn the standing army (the police) against the citizens. It is a form of enslavement, because there is no provision of law left to the patriot other than natural law. As such, every patriot must watch the days pass and the injustices mount until they are no longer able to sit and take it. Each patriot has a different level of tolerance, so no action might be coordinated. Even the victorious outcome will not guarantee liberty as there will always be those left, who did not fight, who did not sacrifice to take the stage and appeal to patriotism as a means of securing their own power and corrupting the intentions of those who did.

For what then does one lay down his life? There appears to be only one rational reason to take up arms, to step out onto the field. It cannot be to secure liberty, because that is not assured; it cannot be to restore the Constitution, because that is likewise not assured. The only pure cause of action is retribution for enslavement.

Guidance

A few days ago I wrote the above post full of self, of my own attitudes and baggage. I fluctuate from thinking that what I write helps, that it provides some information, that it leads some to the light of truth. Other times, I think if I am writing I am not doing and doing is what needs to be done. I think that by shutting down the blog and "doing" I can protect those who might be considered co-conspirators. I have struggled with this a lot.

I am not afraid of the justice system. To be honest, the last thing they want to do is put me in prison with a bunch of other victims of this diseased system. I know the mentality. I have spent a lot of time with ex-cons. While I am not rushing to be imprisoned, I do not fear it. The greatest fear I have is what it does to people I care about, people like my family, like the III.

My life has been in a state of flux most of the time. There were a few moments when things were stable, but it has been only a respite from the turmoil that surrounds being in the oil industry where everything can change in the blink of an eye. People do not stay at one job very long. The company might stay the same, but the rig changes, or the crew changes, etc. Nothing is safe, no schedule is sacred. Every plan I have ever made has been hijacked by the uncertainty of working in the oil field.

And, so it is again. I have an opportunity that I will likely accept that will once again hijack whatever plans I had made, whatever obligations I assumed in good faith. That does not mean that I must stop the blog. It really doesn't affect very much, except that whatever time I had set aside to do anything, or go anywhere will be adjusted to the new schedule. I will have more time off, but more time on as well.

Enough of me, though. The fact is, I realize now, from responses to the latest post, that becoming discouraged with the movement, watching organized events fail time after time to produce anything substantial, is some of my own baggage. It is unworthy of the efforts a lot of other people are making for me to just bag it.

From what I have read many feel the same way: they just want to chuck it all and go after the crooks, but they have remained to provide guidance. They have been convinced to stay in the fight. I guess I have to find a way to do both.

I am waiting now to hear news of my new schedule. I will try to keep up with the posts as much as I am able, but I refuse to write a post just to write something. I will take it as it goes. Thank you for your guidance, I had made up my mind, but I always listen to reason.

Hard Truths and Adios

There is really nothing left to say, is there? Do we wait for the next Bundy Ranch? We all have our lives and we are walking on eggshells hoping to get a few more things tied up before we have to step out from our protective barriers called "lives" and become counter-revolutionaries. We have to stop trying to protect those things that are lost. We cannot hold onto what we have and do anything substantial to overcome the tyranny of the current corrupt system.

I don't know if I'll write another post. The communication issue is persistent and maybe some folks are working on it, I don't know, they have not responded, not to me, anyway. I hope so. As far as defense is concerned, I have it figured out for myself. I have always been working on a plan to secure my people. I have assets others do not, so I take it all a bit for granted.

The one thing we need to know is that we are not functional and cannot get functional without dropping the mask of propriety we cling to so desperately. I understand those who train, but that is with the idea of survival and to be honest, I think if you are active in this movement, you will not survive the first round. Might as well buy that cow right now. Either you will die attempting to do something constructive for the movement, or you will be targeted and taken down before you raise a finger in resistance.

I equate this situation to being the first of those troops coming out of the landing craft on D-Day. Accept your role, prepare a replacement, but if you think you are going to stand in front of that door as it falls away from you and survive, you are kidding yourself. We are martyrs and I don't consider that term in an honorable context, but it is a fact. No one on D-Day wanted to watch their lives disappear, but they manned-up and they did it. Maybe they were absolutely terrified, transfixed by the horror of it, but they were there to be the calculated number required to reach the cliffs. That is how these things are figured out: i.e. how many lives are required for troops to reach the cliffs and how many will be required to scale the cliffs, etc. You are a number, an amount required to reach the cliffs. Anyone, who has been in the service, should understand this concept.

If you need Constitutional violations to motivate you, they are there; if you need abuse of power evidence to motivate you, it is there; if you need the government to investigate you, have the IRS harass you to motivate you, it is there; if you need patriotism to motivate you, look at the VA scandal and see what they think of our defenders of their power and that should motivate you. At this point, if you are not motivated to act, take off the III patch, delete the blogs from your list and just slip away into nothingness. The one thing you should not do, is involve anyone else in your plan. Make a plan, plan your plan and execute your plan. Start small, build up, protect your actions if you can.

The conclusion I have come to is simply this: they mean to take everything I have, imprison everyone I care about and if possible take me alive and torture me for the names of everyone I know. That's enough for me.

I won't shut the blog down, but to be honest, I really don't give a damn.

Enemies of Liberty Hurt One of Our Own

I am always uncomfortable asking the community to do things, because I am no leader, I have no particular sway with anyone. I write what I think are the salient points of the day. However, I take my role as a Threeper seriously and know I will give my life for this movement, for liberty for my countrymen and women.

As a society we are doomed if folks like myself are not willing to take a bullet, are not willing to put their lives on the line. I have done so and so have many others. If we, for a moment, start to tally up all the costs of what we do, where we go to stand up to this monstrous leadership we have in the Congress, the courts and the police forces, we would blanch a bit at the enormity of what this movement has cost us all.

Having said that David has born the costs of running a militia unit, mobilizing at times to defend us all. I met David at the Mercer PA Patcon called the Liberty Summit. I met a lot of people there and a few friends stopped by as well. David brought the Ohio Valley Minutemen to the meet, concerned for our safety as it was causing quite a stir, even within the community. The very idea of a bunch of influential people in the movement gathering to consider future actions was startling. But, he and his troops stood tall and provided security for the event.

As the CO of Ohio Valley Minutemen, David has endured IRS harassment (as I have) and they have decided that he owes quite a bit of money. I had a CPA when they came after me and we ran the IRS around quite a bit, while they created debts out of thin air and admittedly so.

David has done a lot for all of us, even if we were largely unaware. What he has done is offered valuable advice about issues concerning the militia. He has maintained his troops in a readiness, even sending a few to Bundy Ranch to recon. He is one of the people who are the backbone of this movement, because when it goes hot, folks like him will be the first to see the thin blue line as evidenced by Bundy Ranch.

David has resigned his post as CO and is working through the transition as we speak. My debts to him are great and even though he will be backing out of his responsibilities, I think it is important to try and give him a hand for all of the trouble this endeavor has caused him. Sure, there are a lot of good causes, but those of us in the community know that no one has our backs, but each other. While I have my own trouble, as most of us do, I will be sending a check for as much as I can afford to help him out of his troubles.

This was not solicited, as anyone who has ever met David knows, but he has obligations that have been made very difficult by the enemies of liberty. To let those enemies win a round by putting a good man down is something I cannot stand by and allow. I hope you will join me and send what you can to:

A Nation Reborn

The recent official coalition of the Patriot/Liberty groups and the militias signals an escalation in the the fight for Constitutional Restoration. This move to create a more seamless affiliation with militias, who will be called on to defend personal liberty from those determined to alienate it, and the unorganized, dedicated Three-percenters, including patriot/liberty bloggers, presents a force capable of defending individuals and ensuring that the truth of the conflict reaches the ears of the public.

The strength of the III % is numbers. Even those who do not identify themselves with the III% are one injustice away from understanding the importance of embracing the III. This puts the regime on the losing end of the equation. As they push harder and harder for control, they alienate a greater and greater percentage of the people. Right now, three-percent of the population is in excess of nine million people. There are considerably more Americans sick of being spied on, lied to and betrayed by the bureaucracies (IRS, VA, BLM and militarized police, etc.).

Armed bureaucracies like the BLM have had their way for a long time, using the taxpayer-funded legal system to abuse and oppress citizens (at their own expense). Lately, in the Bundy Affair, it was revealed how the loss of legal cases was used an excuse to send snipers to the Bundy Ranch, anticipating resistance to the theft of their cattle. Only in an oppressive nation would snipers be used to ensure the theft of property on behalf of the government for failure to pay grazing fees. There is a civilized way to handle the issue, but this regime has discarded civility. It has discarded the rule of law. This has been demonstrated over and over by the Attorney General who once openly refused to pursue a case of clear and hostile voter intimidation due to the fact that the perpetrators were black, or as he referred to them: "my people." That is the rule of men, the rule of kings, that we rebelled against at the founding of this nation.

The events at the Bundy Ranch proved a theory those in the militias and the III per centers had held for a long time: the government is abusive and aggressive, but deep down they know they are tyrants, above the law and once confronted by armed patriots standing on principle in the sort of numbers presented to them at the Bundy Ranch, they have no options. To have opened fire on that day, against those cowboys, would have initiated a civil war. Due to modern technology that brutality would have been seen across the nation in the time it takes to click on a link. The result would have been to create millions more III percenters to the opposition and certainly instant retribution from those who already identify with the brand.

The Bundy Ranch revealed a weakness as well: the ability of the government to jam cell phones, cut Internet access, fly drones, etc. In response, the militias who will provide personal security for patriots against the forces of government have been in touch with the III% who will ensure, through reliable and secure methods of communication, that the truth of the confrontation is broadcast through whatever means necessary to the unorganized militias, marshaling forces to conduct operations nationwide through protest, or other means.

Three things are now ensured through this formal alliance: quick response troops to provide security against violations of law by government officials, the method of communication to reinforcements, replacements and other actors.

This is how the United States was born and it is how it will be reborn: under liberty. If the reader is skeptical, it might do to re-read history. The level of contempt and ridicule endured by the original three-percent who stood against the king's armies was nearly unbearable. But, that conflict was against armies, the next one will not be. It will be worse than the civil war, it will be a lot more like the Vietnam war, only the Viet Cong will look just like our own forces.

The Militia

Warning this is a Pro-Militia post!
My friends and countrymen... the powers of the sword are in the hands of the yeomanry of America from sixteen to sixty.
The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible.
Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom?

Congress have no right to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American....

The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or the state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."
Tench Coxe, delegate  to the Continental Congress in the Pennsylvania Gazette, February 20, 1788

We Don't Want Them, We Don't Recognize Them

Who knows more about government corruption than Mexico? It has been battling the drug cartels for generations. The problem is bribery and fear. Cartels and local drug lords bribe cops to alert them when a raid is to take place. If the cops don't take a bribe, the next step is to threaten their lives or those of the family. Subsequently, Mexico has failed to address their biggest issue: roving bands of murdering gangs. They have used the military to try and come to grips with it, but the government is incapable of moving quickly, silently.

All governments rely on overwhelming firepower and numbers. Take that away and they are nothing. Bribe their ranks and they fall down. Threaten them, the way they threaten the average citizen, and they cave. One cannot be paid enough to die and risk the lives of their families.

Since government cannot solve the problem, they claim there can be no solution. This is the arrogance of socialist thought and it reveals their infantile reasoning. So, what do they do? They do what Mexico has done, cede the lives of their citizens to the criminal beast.

The genius of America, the genius that has been replaced by infantile reasoning, is that it allowed people to defend themselves and solve their own problems. Yes, the people used government to achieve things like building roads and bridges, but it was always maintained the right to self-defense, the right to arms and the right to property.

Over the past several decades these rights have been mostly diminished, regulated out of existence by bureaucrats with lawyers and snipers.

Now, in Mexico, the tide is turning in the war against the drug cartel in the failed state of Michoacan, Mexico. The tide is not turning because of government, police or armies. It is turning because of self-defense forces: farmers and ranchers who have decided that they are going to protect their own. Armed with AK-47's they have hunted down several cartel leaders and put others on the run. Not to defend some government, or ideal, but to defend themselves and their families when the government could not.

The arrogance of government, never to be outdone, has reached out to the self defense forces and required them to register their weapons and become part of a rural police force. The best quote of the piece linked above:

"We don't want them to come, we don't recognize them," vigilante Melquir Sauceda said of the government and the new rural police forces. "Here we can maintain our own security. We don't need anyone bringing it from outside."

Blood In, Blood Out

There were a couple of posts today dealing with mindset. One was an excellent post by Resistor In The Rockies and another was from Tea Party Economist. These were opposite mindsets that, along with all of the other patriot blogs out there, brought home the issue: Mindset.

It doesn't matter what some of the people in the country think of Cliven Bundy, most are trying to make him out a hero or a deadbeat. I don't think he is necessarily either one (though I do lean toward the hero end of the pool), but he is a man in the old sense; the righteous sense; the type young boys wanted to emulate and discovered their own character in the attempt.

Cliven Bundy stood up, not just a few weeks ago, but twenty years ago and has been standing on the principle he believed in all that time. There are the mealy-mouthed who say he should have paid his grazing fees. One might as well say he should have sold his soul, because that is what the other ranchers in Nevada did. They took a payoff, a dive, they threw the game, because the other players were bigger, tougher, meaner. I have no doubt that what the other ranchers did was the smart move. That's how the feds work: threaten, punish, shove and if that isn't enough they send out the snipers.

In America? The only thing that ever made America special is because it was not full of cowards shielding their face against the sight of the beast. If that's who we are; who we have become, there's nothing left to fight over. If Gary North (Tea Party Economist) is right, I have to be wrong.

Cliven Bundy understood that there are worse things than being dead, there is the loss of a dream. For him, it was the idea of passing down a ranch to his posterity. He knew that the ranch could not function on less acres than he grazed, simple as that. The first notice that told him he had to reduce his herd was the same as a death sentence to his future.

Most people don't understand cattle; how much they eat; how much ground must be dedicated to each head; how profit is derived from the offspring; how the herd must generate a specific number of steers, etc. That's why they don't understand that back in 1993 when they said he would have to reduce his herd and graze less land, it meant going way below the profit margin. It meant death to the ranch. So he told them to kiss off, they could not have his dream; they could not neuter his legacy for the sake of a desert tortoise (which was just a ruse backed by cultist environmentalists and used by the thugs to mask their brutality).

So Bundy stood on principle, he did not look for a bargain or to flout the law. It was a cruel, vicious, calculated prospect and he knew it. Today, Bundy and those at the ranch are more akin to those at the Alamo, standing on principle, knowing that they will lose an all-out battle, but also knowing that they will sow the seeds of rebellion and ultimate victory. "Remember the Alamo" is a well-understood phrase even today.

The difference, however, is crucial: Santa Ana (this time) is paid by us; acting as our agents; in our name. That is an indignity that might only be absolved through blood. The mindset required is: Blood in, blood out.

Consider This, Mr. Federal Agent

America has been on the brink of implosion for several years, even decades. Only those who were active during the Ruby Ridge and Waco actions of the federal government against the lives and liberties of their targets know how close America was to outright rebellion in the 1990's.

Bunkerville will go down as another event in the counter-revolution. Yes, of course, the revolution has already taken place overthrowing the U.S. Constitution in favor of judicial dictate: a cooperation of high political office and the judiciary has sanctioned the overthrow. It is now an oligarchy where a few high offices and corporate leaders steer the nation toward control and away from individual liberty.

Federal agents believe in force. Their jobs require force. They have put their faith in a system they don't even understand, because if they did, they would realize they are on the wrong side and cannot possibly win. That's hard for them to imagine. They look out at their weapons and tactics, the training they have done and the tanks and helicopters at their disposal and imagine all of these assets being brought to bear on those silly citizens with rifles and pistols. Admittedly, it seems as if they have all the advantages, just like the British, just like Santa Ana.

The problem the federal agents have today is one of perception. The people have lived under an increasingly totalitarian state for more than a decade since the passage of the Patriot Act. They have watched the Department of Homeland Security thread its way into every aspect of American life with more to come. Similarities of the federal government of today and that of the Soviet Union are so close that many citizens have trouble figuring out what it was about communism that was worth fighting against that is not now true of the U.S. Government. What is it exactly?

The Supreme Court has lost credibility. To many, it has long since lost credibility, but to some that is something new that they have come to embrace since Fourth Amendment violations are typical; since Second Amendment violations are typical; since First Amendment violations are typical. It seems, by recent rulings that there is nothing outside the power of government through either the Commerce Clause, or the "necessary and proper" clause. If that is true, what would be the need of so many words in the Constitution? Would it not have been more efficient to have spelled out, from the git-go, that the federal government is supreme in all things and that citizens of the United States and individual states are bound to obey the laws passed by the federal government? What would be the need of so many words with the suggestion of a limitation of powers and amendments spelling out specific rights of the citizens and the states?

The fact is: the Supreme Court has done little else than support its own power of law-making since the ruling in Marbury v. Madison when it drew upon itself the power to define the words and intent of the founders. Where it suited the court, i.e. it could exert its power over the Executive and Legislative, it found with the concept of individual rights, when the people came to rely on those rights, it cleverly found with the powers of the government; always with the intent to ensure that it maintained the power to guide society on the path it found most pleasing.

The economic system has been racked by debt in vast excess of the means to repay it. The banking system and the treasury are interlocked to a point where the individual citizen has been sacrificed to avoid default. More of this is to come, because nothing has been fixed since the initial shock took place in 2008 and in fact the debt has grown exponentially since the federal government has turned to outright payoffs to low income people (they don't even have to be citizens to receive cash or to vote) to secure the power structure. What better way to secure power than to bribe a majority of the people with money supplied by the minority? But, that doesn't square any accounts, it just ensures power for a few more years until it all comes undone. By then, they hope to have the police state securely in place. That both objectives are close to being achieved explains where we are as a society and why rebellion is close at hand.

The military has been decimated with fighting two largely unfunded wars, drawing on a smaller and smaller number of soldiers fighting tour after tour without rest or recovery. Yes, the military has lots of nice toys, but it has abused those expected to operate them to the point of near destruction. Meanwhile, it has been invested in the idea of recruiting new soldiers with completely different concepts of warfare and including warfare against "internal threats" more so than external threats. Either way, the military is largely degraded with many of its more competent soldiers rotating out of the service and into the ranks of the "internal threats" and ensuring that they are targeted and/or disarmed, ironically, because they were "damaged" fighting the previously mentioned unfunded wars.

Viewed from an objective and foreign perspective, America looks like an inviting target. It has lost its economic power, at least without the support of foreign governments to purchase its debt. It has lost its military power through attrition. It has lost its patriotic fervor through its abuses to its own citizens.

Consider, just for a moment and this is not a prophesy, or a conspiracy theory, it is merely a suggestion that has been troubling me for a while. It is a "what if" scenario for all of those federal agents who think they know how this all goes down. What if this battle against patriots or "domestic terrorists" as they have been trained to view patriots, is just the insurance of the last piece of the puzzle, the "loss of patriotic fervor" piece before the next shoe drops?

What if that "next shoe" is aggressive military action by Russia and China in Eastern Europe and Asia respectively? What if they destroy the U.S. economy with refusal to purchase debt and start seeking to get out of the U.S. debt business?

Well, nuclear war, right? There is no way America can fight a war against both Russia and China, especially with a devastated economy and no way to borrow funds to crank up a war machine. What if instead of nuclear war, Barack Obama, as President of the United States, surrenders with the agreement that he maintain political control over the North American province?

The suggestion is that it is possible, as are nearly a thousand other scenarios, but, Mr. Federal Agent, you have just become a "domestic terrorist" because you have claimed the whole time that you defend the Constitution and support the United States Government. As such, you are either a POW, or an enemy combatant. Either way, you should learn how to kneel at the edge of a pit.

Bunkerville Remains The Flash Point

Bunkerville represents the first action of the people's resistance against an unconstitutional governmental bureaucracy turned paramilitary unit. We are likely to see more as time goes on, because there is not a bureaucracy that has not been turned into a paramilitary unit.

The principle lost in all of this militarization of bureaucrats is that they generally interact with citizens, not enemy combatants or criminals; they are not headed by someone who can be voted out of office, like a sheriff, or held to account by a city council who can be voted out of office. We are not capable of voting out of office the Director of Homeland Security and impeaching a president is something the corrupted officials will not consider in today's oligarchy. These are highly armed bureaucrats already infamous for their hostility toward the general public primarily because they are impervious to public opinion.

When the patriot speaks of tyranny, this is exactly the definition that comes to mind: roving bands of highly-armed bureaucrats enforcing "regulations" crafted by the bureaucracy (without votes, without oversight, without due process) at the point of a gun. I have largely refrained from making correlations between either Nazi's or Stalinists with these bureaucrats, but it is becoming much too relevant to be ignored.

Bunkerville remains the flash point as indicative of the war on civilians the government has engaged in over the past several decades. They deal harshly with corporations, using these same bureaucracies to harm and ultimately destroy whole industries, displacing workers whose fortunes are dependent upon them. These actions of the federal government on behalf of special interest environmentalists  can no longer be disguised as actions in the public interest. They are destructive of the public interest which is wide and varied, not merely focused on a largely discredited "global warming" agenda as are the special interests they use as excuses for their belligerence.

It is not criminal to demand the protections of the Constitution against the abuses of the government. It is the right of the citizen to demand these protections and in a civil society the government is honor bound to address them according to law, recognizing the tendency of any power structure toward abuse. What is taking place across the nation now is the abandonment of these principles and this understanding of the nature of government toward abuse is being discounted and even exacerbated by the methods of enforcement of "regulations" by bureaucratic military units.

Since the government has refused to look inward, to investigate itself with any dedication to republican principles of restraint and correction, the abuses must continue and to grow more and more hostile to the forces dedicated to their legal limitations. Those legal limitations remain, however, and must be enforced by the citizens themselves.

The creation of resistance is wholly the making of the federal government and its bureaucracies and its dissolution is also possible within their power if properly administered through restraint and internal investigation. Since this tack has been dismissed with the arrogance of sheer force, there can be no other conclusion than the fact that the federal government is intent on operating outside the law against its own citizenry.

Citizens seeking lawful redress of grievances have been labeled "domestic terrorists" and given, therefore, criminal intent in preparation for wholesale slaughter or internment, thus creating armies of individuals recognizing the inherent evil of the corrupted government and reacting appropriately to counter these abuses.

When legality becomes a ruse, illegality becomes legitimate.

Request From Those At Bunkerville

The previous post had been made with only minor insight into the Oathkeepers/militia fall out, I had been on the road and reliant on smartphone for info while driving and did not get the context of the issue until recently.

The question, from those on the ground at Bunkerville: Is there need for replacements? Please, respond only with accurate, primary or at worst secondary but reliable sources.

I am with you if needed/wanted.

The Road to Fraunce's Tavern

First and foremost, support those on the ground.

Please address any donations or care packages to:
The Militia Effort
(or individual/unit/organization you desire to support)
C/O: The Bundy Ranch
P.O. Box 7175
Bunkerville, NV 89007

Second, only those awash in testosterone truly understand the egos and territory-marking that goes on in a high T situation, so it is not advisable to take one side or the other in the militia/OK drama. I am a militia supporter and have not seen much from the Oathkeepers and have not been impressed with what I have seen. I will not let that cloud my judgement. What I don't like is dissension in the field.

I don't know the individuals in command and whether or not that is a good choice or even how that decision was made or could be made except by consent of those present. I assume that's how it went down, but I don't know. What I do know is that they are there and none of us are, so they need support in any form we can muster.

Third, there has been some mention about lack of action by the rest of us. That's understandable. I'm ready, but do they need me there? My assumption is that accommodations are limited, perhaps even a bit imposing on the Bundy Family. Another person there might not be as important as the funds and goods one might send to the front rather than spending the same amount getting there and providing for themself. The idea, I think, is to fully support the limited troops on the ground and let them handle it. They don't need any more people showing up with contradictory opinions about how things are being run, or who is in charge. We saw how that can hurt the effort with the Oathkeepers and their leadership. There may well come a time when more of us are needed, or will be needed in other areas to do other things. I hope more are standing by.

Fourth, perspective is being lost. Bunkerville might well be the Lexington of our times, but it is not as yet. Imagine, if you will a young kid on a mini-bike riding around in the desert at about the time of the standoff with BLM. He lets off on the throttle and the bike backfires. If that had happened at the crucial moment, we would be living in a different world today. That day will come. Don't be impatient.

As a Christian, I believe the hand of God is all over this period in our history. I believe that He will lead us out of bondage. I believe that He kept things from getting out of control during the standoff, providing the forces of liberty a victory.

People talk about action, but offensive action now would not accomplish our goal. The role God has provided is a defensive role, a protective role. To have half a dozen people going off and creating havoc now would diminish the victory already achieved, which is a positive vision of the militias and the supporters of the cause.

Action for the sake of action, that does not advance the cause of liberty, is destructive. Would I like to back up my words with action? Sure, of course, I feel kind of anxious to do something to help, but reason dictates that I know what that is and whether or not I would be helping or hurting the cause in these crucial first steps toward defense of our rights. Something I do might give reason for the feds to go in aggressively at Bunkerville, or have no effect at all. Is that wise?

I think it prudent to consider these issues of perspective. I think it prudent to consider that Bunkerville, like Lexington is not the only step in the struggle, it is but the first step. To everything there is a start, a middle and an end. One cannot get from Lexington to Fraunce's Tavern in a single day. Or, do you think that at the conclusion of Bunkerville, whatever that is, the government will recede back into constitutionally proper government? Or, like me, do you think there is a long, hard road with setbacks and victories involving most of us newly minted "domestic terrorists" involved in some tragic and heartbreaking event in the years to come?

Trust in the leadership at Bunkerville, support them with goods and funds, support them with presence if asked, with reinforcements and replacements if needed and with prayers.

This Ain't No Traveling Circus

Layne Chapman of Texas, in the area of the BLM land grab along the Red River, is a good man. There are not many who can claim that title. Now, his land is in danger of being confiscated. This is not federal land he is grazing on, it is his land. The BLM wants to claim 90,000 acres, some of it Chapman's, to "define" the border or some other bureaucratic excuse. Their "good" ideas spell pain and bankruptcy for mere citizens of this pirated nation.

Chapman would like the support of the people in the style of Bundy, but without the force. He would like to see a rally to bring heat to the issue, raise awareness, etc.

I believe Chapman to be a good man. That isn't enough.

Right now Chapman has the support of the state of Texas. The Governor and the Attorney General are on the case, but even if that were not true Chapman's vision is flawed.

The important issue, one raised at a recent meeting between a few committed patriots and myself, is of credibility. The conglomeration of viewpoints and principles we call a "movement" has finally started to gel around the idea of defending the rights of citizens. That is a cause worthy of any patriot's time, but good people like Chapman seem to think patriots are like a traveling circus.

The BLM did not back down at the Bundy Ranch because they were afraid of the snakes on the flags, or the imposing riders on horses; they backed down because they were about to expose themselves as the bloodthirsty thugs they are. They had lost the advantage of a media blackout. They had lost the advantage of having the only snipers on the ridge (or overpass). When government bureaucracies act like outlaws in a grainy Western: stealing land, stealing cattle and fencing stolen goods that is exactly who they become: outlaws. Outlaws only respond to force. A rally, without the strength and integrity of a dedicated militia and willing auxiliaries who will stand behind the principle of God-given rights with arms, is nothing; just another useless rally.

It is important for the patriot community to hold onto that concept of defenders of individual rights, but it has to be the right individual. No one is perfect. Bundy isn't perfect. The one absolute requirement of an individual is the desire for help in defending their rights, without qualification, without dictating the conditions of that support. The patriot community is not a traveling circus. It is not a hired gun. They are the defenders of individual rights against the oppression and tyranny of a criminal government. If that takes force, it has to be on the table. We know it is on the table when they encounter an unarmed citizen just trying to live his life on his own land.

Blood of Patriots

Liberty is not about Cliven Bundy, it never was. The support Bundy received was in direct proportion to his request for such help. I have nowhere else seen a rancher or land owner asking for the help of the patriot/liberty community. Nowhere else have I seen an aggrieved individual requesting the help of militias to defend their liberties. We are here, we are available.

This is a necessary step in the process.

There are those who still believe in the judicial system, in the concept of fair dealing with the feds. I suppose it is, to their traditional way of thinking, right and honorable to do so. Occasionally they are right. Luck cannot be discounted. However, dealing with the feds is a one-way street. The feds own the laws, the prosecutors, the justices and therefore the fate of the people embroiled in conflicts with them. There are few, if any, examples of the feds being served with orders from the court that they did not fight tooth and nail and even, ultimately, ignored to achieve their ends. All the while making those in conflict with their dictates abide by every utterance of the "officials."

To be a law-abiding citizen is utterly stupid. Claiming to be law-abiding is to agree to oppression and tyranny; it is to accept and even endorse subjugation to arbitrary laws. It is, in this age, unconstitutional. The federal government has discarded the Constitution, ridiculed it, mocked it and labeled those abiding by the Constitution as terrorists. One senator does not say this (Harry Reid) it is said by the whole of the Senate and more Republican senators agree than disagree with Harry's assertion. That other senators disagree and counter the statement does not diminish the legal connotations of that statement.

Terrorism is clearly the method the federal government uses to demand compliance. A threat of prosecution is a threat of unequal treatment before the law, in absence of rights guaranteed under the Constitution. It is a threat of economic destruction, of alienation from family and friends. It is, to some extent, a death sentence. Perhaps, long after all money has been spent, all assets liquidated, all family members estranged, one might prove themselves in the right, but the damage has been done and the feds understand this and therefore do not need a provable case, just a ruse of one that will last long enough to create terror among citizens they have charged.

This is not a tactic to achieve "justice," it is a tactic to achieve fear by which they might pursue any and all goals unopposed. The question to the citizen is not: Are you right? It is: Can you really afford to prove you are right? Are you willing to lose everything to be right? Or, will you agree with us that you will go away, provide no resistance and maybe retain something of your life-long struggle for survival?

Any government that would ask those questions is a government too accustomed to the tactics of terror, having long since abandoned the precepts of legitimate, honorable justice.

In Africa Muslims are known to drill water wells for communities whether they are populated by Christians or Muslims, but when it comes time to drink of the well the citizens are asked similar questions as those asked by our government: Will you become a Muslim and drink from the well, or remain Christian and die of thirst or dysentery? The punishment for drinking from the well without conversion to Islam is death.

When the government of the United States more clearly resembles that of the Taliban, or Al Qaeda, there is no moral struggle left when opposing its dictates. The fact is, when such is true, there is no honor in obedience, only in resistance. There is no purpose in living the lie of freedom when the government has turned to terror.

The patriot has no fear of being labeled a racist by racists, a terrorist by terrorists, a traitor by traitors. It is all name-calling and juvenile. The proof is in acts: those taken against us and those taken against them. They have separated themselves from authority by their actions and deserve nothing less than to be met by citizens who have separated themselves from obedience.

As we saw at the Bundy Ranch, the feds only want to play when the game is fixed, when the death of the citizen is insured. It is their intent to kill citizens to protect the tortoise or to ensure political deals when the last possible resort should be the death of a citizen, yet it is the first choice of the federal government. These are the attitudes and actions of terrorists. It is this way because these bureaucracies transcend politics, are impervious to the elected official of the time. Since 1993 the BLM has been terrorizing the West. Clinton, Bush and Obama have presided over this terrorism without a word, without restraint and they all know that the BLM is doing the bidding of a terrorist government against the people and for the power and prestige of the bureaucrats.

If you are victimized by these terrorists, reach out to those willing to stand with you to deny them the blood of patriots for which they thirst.

Hostile Bureaucratic Armies

For most of the patriot/liberty community the Constitution is really of no importance any longer. The federal government has tossed that document over long ago. To whatever degree they bandy about the Constitution, it is always in context of violating its meaning by re-defining the words to arrive at a position where the Constitution permits the violation of rights guaranteed within the Constitution. If that sounds contradictory and vague, it is intended to be. That is the purpose of the federal government at this stage in our devolution to traditional dictatorship/monarchy/oligarchy rule of a once free nation.

The Constitution, like individual rights, is as relevant as the people demand. For a hundred years the people have asked nothing of the Constitution. To them, it seemed to be working as advertised. It is only within the past forty years or so that the federal government has come to exert its power over the states and the people to a degree that the people find intolerable. The "spotted owl" decimated the Northwest production of lumber and paper. The land grab continues with bureaucrats at the head of large federal militias in the form of BLM and National Park Service agents. This is a standing army amongst us, dedicated to the destruction of private property and confiscation of large swaths of state land.

The struggle for liberty is against these forces. The militias of citizens and the militias of bureaucrats are now facing off against one another. This is not law enforcement versus citizen. If this struggle is properly understood by the states, it is a struggle for the land itself which makes up the greater part of the states. Since, constitutionally it is only with the consent of the state that the federal government might erect and establish "needful buildings" the state has every right to prevent the bureaucratic militias access to any of the land itself and force them back into their buildings, or vote to rescind permission to own anything at all within the boundaries of the state.

I suggest that these states: Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico and Arizona, or any of them individually recognize that the bureaucractic militias have become abusive to their hosts, hostile to their citizens and illegally promoting conflict and a breach of peace within these states specifically.

If the states will not represent their people in this action, it might well be left to the people themselves to arrange for their defense from federally sponsored conflict in these states. While these states have endured federal ownership in the past recent violations of the Constitution have proven that they are no longer acceptable residents and must be held accountable to the states that hold the ultimate lease upon these lands: occupation.

Either way, it is clear now that the bureaucracies are dangerous to liberty and are acting as military units within the states with hostile intent toward the state's citizens and their rights.

In the Hearts of Patriots

An astounding article written by a reporter for ThinkProgress, a liberal rag, put the general issues of the Bundy Ranch in a fairly neutral light. It was a good piece. Better yet, the comments section were instructive. Kerodin brought this to my attention and it serves its purpose.

Many of the commenters said that the founders would be ashamed of us, that we had not read the founders, or we would not support resistance to the federal government. Wasn't Bundy a freeloader? A fee cheat?

Fortunately for the patriot/liberty movement these sorts of drones don't matter in the larger view of things. Lost on these individuals (can't really call them Americans if they don't know, believe or will stand for those things that makes one a citizen of the United States) is the events at the Bundy Ranch were exactly what the founders would have initiated. We know this, because they did initiate the Revolutionary War over it, over arms they were not supposed to have, a violation of law, I imagine as serious as grazing cattle.

They either don't know, or are willfully ignorant of the fact that Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 states:
"...and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings"

The purpose, obviously, was to provide for defense of the numerous states, allowing the state legislatures to vote on whether to allow the feds to own land so they could build fortifications to the defense of the nation. Nothing more. Nothing is said about owning land because it is beautiful, or houses endangered species. It doesn't even say they are allowed to own the land, only to build upon the land their "needful buildings."

This is where it all comes down to oppression, tyranny and theft. As I have said a million times, we have only those rights we are willing to die to preserve. Yes, if one is dead, one cannot enjoy their rights, but in the act one secures that right for one's posterity.

On reading the comments in the article it becomes clear that the two Americas can no longer exist in one nation. Those who swear fidelity to the state cannot bear the temerity of those who swear fidelity to the Constitution. Those ships are too far distant to make contact.

In all the rhetoric, the main theme is lost. A family faced the loss of their livelihood due to the presence of a tortoise. The government sought to deprive Bundy of his property by shutting off his time-honored rights to graze the land held illegally by the federal government. To enforce the will of the government a private army was sent out to intimidate him into compliance with a demand to pay an authority that has lost its right to obedience by abandoning that which gives it credibility. Without the "lawless" militia, the government snipers might have pulled a Ruby Ridge.

How any American can look at that situation and come up with the belief that Bundy was in the wrong, shows that they are no longer Americans at all, but some sort of drone serving at their masters call. That is not the spirit that broke the British government, it is not the spirit that forged a new land from wilderness, it is not the spirit of that drafted one of the most important documents in human history.

Those on the side of Bundy exemplified everything the founders thought they were preserving with the drafting of the Constitution. That America is still alive in the hearts of patriots regardless of the popular opinions of slaves.

Focus: BLM

In the new reality of freedom fighters and domestic terrorists it is important for militias and freedom fighters not to spend their credibility cheaply. What made the Bundy Ranch a success for the patriot forces was Cliven Bundy himself. I am aware of numerous individuals who would have sold out the efforts of their supporters for a reduced grazing fee, or a better payoff.

This is one reason to take it further, to go outside the individual. We can not always rely on the backbone of those we seek to aid when the feds come calling with stock trailers and military garb. The nation is awake. A great example of this was the interchange between Harry Reid and Dean Heller, the Republican senator from Nevada.

On KSNV-TV, Harry repeated his opinion that the supporters of Cliven Bundy were domestic terrorists while Heller called them patriots.

Harry Reid's reply was: "If they are patriots, we are in trouble." Yes, Harry, people like you are in trouble, because those were patriots. That's what undiluted, undiminished Americans look like when the government abuses their God-given rights.

When the situation exists where one senator can call a group of individuals domestic terrorists and the other senator can call them patriots, the game is already ours. Now, these senators might just be playing politics, but it is the fact that the politics of today allow such a stark divide that enables our cause.

The BLM is taking land all over America. This can be the focus of our patriotic fervor, to counter BLM wherever we can find a person or family willing to accept our help, to stand firm, to display the appropriate backbone. Many of them have been fighting the BLM for several years. Some of these people do not understand the militia/patriot movement. They might not even support our goals, but there are some who do and will and they need to be vetted and then supported.

Focus locally, but embrace the idea of national support. One thing I think should also be done, though I don't know how to manage it. There needs to be a GoFundMe account, or some other such funding mechanism to help support those willing to take up the cause. Who do you trust to control the funds? That's a good question. Can there be a means of making such a fund trustworthy enough to be a viable funding source? Beyond reproach?

We need to exploit the weakness the BLM and feds have shown and start to show up at every Bundy-like action. Again, vetting and screening those we aim to defend. This goes back to Kerodin's point where part of the purpose is to deny surplus boots on the ground, because all of the BLM offices are dealing with their own security issues. I have heard of BLM movements in Texas and Colorado. I will be going to Colorado shortly and repeatedly while I deal with property there. I'll do some research on that angle.

The reason I find BLM compelling is because their way of doing business violates every single right I can think of. They tried to limit free speech in Nevada, for heaven's sake. The Fourth Amendment means nothing to them. I know they would like to do away with the Second Amendment.

I am willing to take some direction on where to go and who to talk to in Colorado.

Patriot Information Network, or Something

I have been looking into Patriot comms. I have gotten some good advice and cautions along the way. The crux of every effective bit of communication is that it come from a reliable source. After that, it all gets complicated and difficult to manage. Like everything else, power enters into it at some point and skews the dynamic, making reliable sources into not so reliable sources. A single point of contact gives the opposition a place to focus.

After reading some very reliable accounts of the Bundy Ranch events it is clear that communication was an issue. Rumors swirled in the electronic air of the Internet. Getting any reliable information out of the Bundy Ranch was difficult due to the fact that those engaged in the action had little time and/or ability to reach out to the greater community and provide truth with details.

The surprising and pleasing fact is that thousands of patriots were willing to mobilize against the threat posed by the federal government. That they didn't know where to go, or who to believe kept a lot of reinforcements on the sidelines. As this struggle against a corrupt and dangerously impudent gang in Washington that call itself "government" it will be even more important to dispatch quality intel and get appropriate responses.

Information is faced with a multitude of challenges in this atmosphere. There are political opponents which showed themselves clearly when the Bundy Ranch started trending strongly on social media sites. It is not above them to cause mischief by rumormongering. There are government employees with a reason to inject misinformation and disinformation to confuse the messages. There are big and small media names interested in self-promotion by producing "exclusives" which might validate their own agendas, but do little for providing those forces in reserve good, actionable intelligence.

So, what to do?

The model I am looking at would rely on HAM radio operators on the scene communicating with operators outside the immediate area (preferably militia communication officers) then distributing that information to large patriot blogsites like WRSA, III Percent Patriots and Sipsey Street Irregulars. Much larger than that and agendas get worked into the mix and intel not directly connected to the media name is diminished or discarded.

The method of verification would be consensus of the relayed message. For instance, any single bit of information might be manipulated further down the stream, but the sheer volume of reports would indicate consistency and largely accuracy. The key is to obtain that information from known sources, which would put a direct link between militia communication officers and these sites.

And, this is where things usually fall apart. It would take cooperation and volunteerism. Those in the militia communication group would have to team up with bloggers and establish those trusted lines of communication. Next, it would be necessary to have someone in the militia communication group  present on the scene, or be relayed information directly from their commander on the scene.

So, here is the pitch. I would request that bloggers reach out to local militia units and see if these connections can be made and to strengthen these arrangements with personal contact. Once this contact is made, the blog will be put on a list of those to be visited if some action is taking place. This link list should be kept by every participating blogger. Then, those interested in getting reliable information could click on as many of the links as possible to get all the different reports until the truth emerges from the volume of posts. This would not be for aggregating internet rumors. The idea is to draw directly from the ground.

The other half of the equation is for militia information officers make contact with each other (which I hope they already have to some degree) exchange information frequencies and agree to participate in the information network.

I hate to name this network until all the bugs are worked out. Let me know if there is a simpler, more secure method of information dissemination. I might be thinking way too complicated, which is my nature, when there are more streamlined avenues available.

The only truth here is that we need a better system if we are going to be effective and be able to respond not only at the site, but around the nation in support of whatever local crisis is at hand.

A Terrorist Government

In the early 1950's the United States Government, particularly the CIA, overthrew the government of Guatemala. The reason for this is that United Brands (of Chiquita Banana fame) claimed that communists had taken over the government. The charge was made as a result of Jacobo Arbenz Guzman's Administration when they, taking a lesson from the United States, nationalized a small, unused portion of United Brands land in order to distribute it among the Guatemalan people to farm.

It was a desperate measure to create private ownership of land. They went about it the wrong way, but sought to use capitalism as a means to eliminating poverty. Jacobo Arbenz Guzman understood that to eliminate poverty, the people must be able to own land in order to become prosperous.

In effect (at the urging of Harry Reid) the United States Government, specifically the Bureau of Land Management, has engaged in a very similar act. Except the BLM, in the Bundy case and more accurately the Hage case, has taken property (grazing rights are a form of property since it contains certain value) from the people in order to give it to large corporations.

A recent poll found that 37% of Americans fear their government. In America, where the government is supposed to fear the people. That is terrorism. Their intent is intimidation and the threat of incarceration, physical harm and even executions are implied. The military-style image of American federal agents is designed to intimidate, to terrorize.

A government cannot rely so heavily as it does on this absolute threat of violence without creating terror in the hearts of citizens. There is no terror so absolute as that created by one's own government. Any other thing, a criminal or a foreign terrorist do not strike the same fear in people, because they can believe that there is a counter-balancing force against them on behalf of the people: the police. But, when government sponsored terrorism is directed at the people themselves, there is no hope of rescue, or justice-there is only terror.

In a lot of countries such injustice and oppression, as are present in America, would spawn an insurrection, rebels, etc. In America, it has spawned the citizen's militia movement. These are organizations dedicated to the defense of inalienable rights, of the Constitution. It is the only resort citizens have against a lawless, terroristic government bent on the subjugation and humiliation of their own citizens. Militias are not of the insurrectionist ilk. Instead, they serve as defenders of the law, of the people against an out-of-control, lawless, unbounded and hostile government. A terrorist government.

Let's Call It Patriotism

A government unloosed from its authorizing document, in open revolt against the principles laid out and defined therein, with the will, intent and ability to execute citizens for trivial offenses, basically parking tickets (oops, forgot to feed the meter on the cattle) is, by definition, a domestic terrorist. The politicians and agents involved in such criminal activity as theft of property (water rights in U.S. v Hage  a similar, but much more egregious case than the issue with Cliven Bundy) involving the BLM, determined by the judge to be involved in a criminal conspiracy is the definition of domestic terrorists.

Mr. Reid, those who stand against such criminal acts are called patriots.

To engage in criminal activity with the threat of death and kidnapping (incarceration) to U.S. citizens is domestic terrorism.

But, all of that is really a sideshow. In the main tent is the fact that this government have brutalized its citizens so often, so willingly that word is out, public sentiment is changing. Investor's Business Daily is pointing out the obvious, but at least they are pointing.

In the Constitution, there is no provision for the United States to own any land that is not directly associated with conducting the business of government and provision for military bases and arsenals. There is no provision for national parks, land management, national forests, those are all the legacy of the first round of progressives to invade the halls of government with ill intent to the citizens.

The coming hot war was instigated by the government over one hundred years ago, but only recently, with the total corruption of the government, with politicians in violation of their oaths: stealing lands; stealing water rights; stealing funds; as they have grown more desperate and more despotic as the inevitable bankruptcy of the federal government looms. They have cast off the pretense. The president operates in total disregard for the wishes of the people and the Constitution, refuses to enforce borders, invites criminals into the nation in contravention of Section 8, Clause 4, where it states: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States. To enforce rules of naturalization on some immigrants and not on others violates the "uniform rule" requirement.

The list of offenses and abuses of the government are endless. The creation of bureaucracies headed by the unelected who wield the entire power of the federal government including the power to execute citizens in the open for minor offenses is the step that went far, far beyond anything conceivable as "necessary and proper" largely because Bureau of Land Management agents armed and trained to execute citizens is neither necessary, nor proper. The entire agency is extra-constitutional and therefore any action against the citizens of any state is the act of terrorism.

Defense against tyranny and terrorism cannot, Mr. Reid, be terrorism. It must be something else, I don't know, lets call it: Patriotism.

Intemperate Frauds

There are two divided nations known as the United States. The best known is the United States of America. This is the one we all believed in, fought to defend and continue to fight to restore. The other one is the Constitutional United States, where states claim their authority over the federal government. This is the one worth fighting for today.

Perhaps, something new will take the place of the once powerful United States of America, perhaps a few other things. What is known is that the current government, actually the employees of the United States of America, no longer faithfully execute their offices. They are frauds, using our funds, pursuing the oppression of the very sustenance of their power.

The first skirmish in the ultimate undoing of this currently established nation has taken place at Bunkerville, Nevada on the Bundy Ranch. This is no longer a cohesive society. Those in power are not representatives of the people, they have other masters those big donors, those influence peddlers and money laundering experts. The true fact is simple: powerful people give big money to politicians (not representatives of the people) who become elected to official office, take an oath and immediately violate the oath and use their position to push the campaign contributions back to the powerful donors. It is a way of cycling the money through the U.S. Treasury, returning many times the amount of the contribution. Nowhere in this scheme is the role of the citizen other than to cast ballots. Sure, a road might get paved, a bridge built but by who? The companies headed by those big donors, of course.

So, let's drop the pretense. When it comes to individuals like Bundy, there is no one in the federal government who will help. They have too many donors to repay to take up a cause that goes counter to their private promises with the exchange of the envelope.

Forget Mark Levin, forget Glenn Beck's handwringing. If Glenn Beck had ever been sincere about his desire to see a re-constituted nation based on liberty and the rule of law, he missed it on the day he had several hundred thousand patriots on the mall in Washington D.C. If he had suggested anything, had any plan to put in place, we all would have taken his lead, but, as usual, he just wanted to talk.

On the other hand, we have Cliven Bundy, a man who stood up to the federal government goons long before any of us knew his name. He did it, because he was right and because he has a backbone. Of course he did it to keep things the way they were; to live and die on the ranch founded by his family. As half-owner of a small ranch in Colorado, I will tell you that the first person who tries to take it from me will never make it past the gate. That goes for bankers and deputies doing their dirty work.

No, I am not like Cliven Bundy. That is not a comparison I care to make, but we do have some similar experiences with the government and some similar attitudes about land and cattle. I will support Cliven Bundy, not because of our similar backgrounds, but because of our similar visions of federal intrusion and the criminal enterprise taking place on our nation's hallowed ground. In a few days I will have the time to show my support in person, if it is required and they are still in need of physical support.

Anyone who goes to Nevada will have to do so accepting that it may be a one-way trip. That is a difficult proposition and one that should not be made in haste, but with reason and with bows tied around the issues at home.

Everything has changed in America. The criminals in Washington have been exposed and their minions sent out to deal with obstacles to their ambition are seen for the thugs that they are. Of course, on the other side of the political spectrum, the collectivist traitors willing to deny their oath, who wear badges and think about retirement with no reservations about killing supporters of Bundy from behind Kevlar and armored vehicles. Every criminal organization needs its enforcers.

This is why the war will take place, because criminal organizations do not back down, they can't. Everything they have built in the last hundred years has been built with that threat of violence. If they don't have that, they are like a mafia don with no one to make collections, no one to break legs, no one to execute their enemies. In order to enforce their will they would need integrity built by their dedication to principle and honest dealing. They would have to be respected and that veil dropped long ago.

So, the conflict is defined: Constitutional government vs government of intemperate frauds just cycling cash through the system and skimming off the top.

This unconstitutional nation now bears no resemblance to that agreed to under the United States charter. It is bogus, a thing Bundy understands and has been willing to expose as illegitimate.

It is natural for any government to become the tyrant. The founders understood that and instituted certain rights, codified our natural rights by declaring clearly the rights to free speech, a free press and the right to arms as a last resort. We are at the point of last resort, not just Bundy, but everyone who has suffered under the weight of these tyrants.
