A Citizen of the Republic

The citizens of a republic must bear an enormous burden. The weight and future of the nation rests solely on their shoulders. Unlike their many counterparts around the world, who consider themselves to be subjects of the king, or comrades of the state, the citizen of a republic owes his allegiance solely to the rule of law. The law is created by the people themselves through their legislators and other citizens are hired to ensure that those laws are obeyed by all equally.

Despite the fact that many politicians today use the term "democracy" in reference to the political system of the United States, nothing could be further from the truth or more intentionally misleading. The citizen of a democracy owes his allegiance solely to the majority opinion, that is a recipe for all sorts of abuses and tyranny of the majority. The distinction is important. A republic defends the interests of the minority against the will of the majority through the rule of law.

That all of this went off the rails a hundred years ago during the progressive era of the early 1900's, does nothing to the underlying responsibility of the people to rectify it. The condition of the American citizen, who is now disregarded, defamed and ignored by the powerful bureaucracies of the federal government is commonly laid at the feet of the failure of the Constitution, but the Constitution is no better or worse than those charged with its defense, the people themselves. No one said that self-government was going to be easy, in fact, it should be the most laborious of all systems. It is not enough to simply fly the American flag on the 4th of July.

The Tea Party, inspired by the economic collapse of 2008, sought to hold their representatives accountable for the excesses of the banking system that simultaneously caused the meltdown and was the greatest beneficiary of it. The further unconstitutional acts of the Obama Administration only infuriated the Tea Party. But, where the Tea Party failed was in a single question: What if replacing representatives, even on a wholesale scale, does nothing to redress the grievances?

The federal government of the United States operates largely on the efforts of non-elected bureaucrats contemptuous of the people and their representatives. Changing a few figureheads through elections does nothing to restore liberty, or restrain the excesses of government.

The bureaucrats are in response to a people who have decided to look to the government for solutions to all sorts of problems; some people get sick from something they ate and the response is to create the Food and Drug Administration; children aren't performing in schools and the response is to create the Department of Education; some criminals flee across state lines to avoid capture and the response is to create the Federal Bureau of Investigation. All of these solutions have created the problems we have today, with an FBI running amok, intransigent and above the law, believing themselves to actually BE the law and powerful enough to deny the citizens any leader that might hold them accountable. They will use the tools given them to defend the law to manipulate elections to deny any politician that might seek to restrain them or reform their bureaus.

Government now acts as the princes and lords of a mythical king. The American people can only look to themselves for a solution to problems this big. The progressive era ushered in a century ago began the long trek towards the overthrow of the republic. Now that the metamorphosis to collectivism is nearly complete the people find themselves at the mercy of people like Comey, Strzok and Mueller, enabled by people like Obama and Clinton.

It will not fix itself. One can watch breathlessly while crimes are uncovered and treason is unmasked, but no one in Washington anticipates that the criminals will go to prison or the traitors will be executed, because all of the actors in this play are the masters, not the slaves. They are not the lowly citizens of a defunct republic.

But, I urge you, as the only legitimate source of political power in a republic, the citizen, to exercise that power. Demand prison for the criminals and executions of the traitors with the full understanding that if you do that, it will initiate a civil war, because a third of your fellow citizens have already embraced that new collectivist state. It is evident in the Bernie Sanders voters who sought to formalize the socialist/communist state the republic has drifted toward over the past several decades. Your fellow citizens are already complicit in the death of the republic and will not help you save it. Do not act now, as a citizen of the republic, and you will embrace the collectivist state yourself.

Most of those reading this will opt for leisure instead of work and consign themselves to the recognition of themselves as part of the collective, but others will take up the shovel with which to bury the collectivist state. There is time to see if Trump and Sessions can rise to the occasion and fulfill the role God has laid out for them as defenders of the republic, but a citizen of the republic should do so while preparing their gear.

  1. Once again you pinpoint the problem and yet fail to see the big picture.

"Most of those reading this will opt for leisure instead of work and consign themselves to the recognition of themselves as part of the collective"

If "most of those reading this" will not work to restore our republic, what makes you think the republic can be restored at all? A cynical view? Surely, but also realistic. Face it: the republic was lost over a century ago. The republic SHOULD have been broken by secession. It was not. Instead we are taught to proudly point to ol' Abe as the savior of our nation. I do not see a solution... any solution to restore the republic. This nation is dwindling to an end - the question is will it snuff with a bang and a bloodbath or a whimper?

    3. Actually, I think you are missing the big picture. I contend it doesn't matter how many people wake up or even act on what we all know is right - short of a new bloody revolution, the swamp will always be with us. And if we GET a bloody revolution - it will lead somewhere other than back to a fresh clean republic.

Unfortunately this is the truest statement here. There is no return to the Constitutional Republic we desire.

    5. Sadly and after much thought on the subject, I must agree with Anonymous. The factors are many but they all add up to a failure of the Republic. I agree that the end result of the period we are entering may be far worse than that we now experience but the sheer mathematics/economics now in play insure that the societal structure we now experience will not continue and the sorting out will be painful for most of us.

    6. There are many of us that do not want the "republic" restored at all.

The south, via our states, rejected the republic over 150 years ago and see nothing to tell us that our ancestors were wrong them.

In short, we want the United States to break apart, with our south, a true nation, free to work for our own benefit.

    7. A republic doesn't have to be THIS republic. In fact, this one is lost, but the whole concept is not invalidated.

  2. The divide is to large to ever be bridged. If at first you don't secede, try, try again. Jefferson Davis in April of 1861 said, "All we ask is to be left alone". Sadly it did not work out very well for the southern states who just wished to go their own way. Nor will it be allowed now or in the future since Lincoln's war of subjugation supposedly settled that issue once and for all. When a fundamental question of self governance is settled in blood it is not settled and shall rise again.

The progs and cloud people cannot let the dirt people go their own way because the dirt people are the producers. The cloud people would starve and find themselves with none of the essentials they need for their lavish life styles without them much in the same way the North needed the South.

Their is no one coming to the rescue and the only Saviour we have does not give a damn about politics. I voted for Donald J Trump even though I had given up voting but only because he was a finger in the eye and a big BFYTW to the elites on both sides. He cannot save what has fallen by the wayside well over 150 years ago. At best his election is providing us a little more time to prep and pray. So it goes...

Indeed. Exactly as I did. The previous time I voted in a General Election was 1992. That was when I realized what a scam it all was. Ross Perot getting back into the race in the last weeks in order to draw votes away from Bush, and ensure Clinton's election, was a real eye opener. The more research I did on it, the more my suspicions were confirmed.

Trump wasn't supposed to happen. Just as Reagan wasn't supposed to happen. Remember, Reagan's would-be assassin was a close family friend of the Bushes.

Trump better have a good crew watching six.

God(Yahuah's) intention and His Will, i fully believe is to turn people and peoples hearts back to Him.

IF what has occurred over the last 9 years ISN'T enough for all to wtfu, it's hopeless. At least on the level that you and I operate at. My view is, toss all these criminal acts and criminals to God and get on with your life. Hopefully that is a life that is filled w/ the American Traditional perspective.

  8. It is this country's "Law Enforcement" and its "Legal" system that enable this fraud, corruption, treason, and sedition. When they - and their families - start to die in bulk, THEN things can change. Once the FBI does not have enough personnel to "protect" the donuts in the headquarters break room, they will not be able to protect their Mastes either. But I'm not sure if we have enough rope for what must follow. Even if we reuse it until it is no longer able to support the traitors' weight for long enough to snap their necks..

  9. There's a delusion going around when it comes to 'people waking up' IMHO. The people who wanted to wake up have done so. Of those who haven't, most don't want to; the denial runs too deep. The others want to see implosion simply to usher in those they were indoctrinated by: communists. Is it not now 'normal' to embrace quasi-socialism as the way the US is supposed to be? Of course it is. The country has conflated 'freedom of speech' with license to say/do anything without consequence....unless you're conservative, which in that case, there are definite rules.

I would submit that in regard to the task of waking others, the law of diminishing returns is hard at work. Look how much 'outrage' is discernible regarding the federal murder of Finicum. Barely noticeable, and then, only from what are considered, 'the usual nut-bag tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists.' News coverage of the murder investigation hardly is noticeable on the news now.

Bitcoin is more important; kicking the deficit can down the road is more important; whining about 'the wall' is more important, oh, and don't forget about, 'me too'...

Being left alone, let alone living free so long as you don't infringe on others, is no longer acceptable by the great majority.

And here we are....right smack dab in the middle of the second age of 'bread and circuses'....

    1. “The others want to see implosion simply to usher in those they were indoctrinated by: communists.”

I’ve often thought the same thing, but I take solace in something .... that those who want to have communist masters are also those who would not acquire the guns, from whose muzzle Mao recognized that all political power flows. Where I think we have to be careful in this assumption, is in believing that the deep state - the OTHER political collective with a lot of guns - wants to surrender its power to a communist collective. In other words, although there may be little practical experiential difference for the average citizen between a socialist deep state hiding behind a false belief in the Constitution on one hand, and a totalitarian communist state on the other, power trumps ideology (and absolute power absolutely trumps ideology). The socialist deep state, hiding behind the veil of alleged capitalism, has a LOT of guns, and the commies have almost none. Therefore, the commies are powerless to burn it all down. They can disrupt things, start riots, etc., but at the end of the day, they have no way to make their disruptions stick.......and no way to force a recalcitrant population under their control.

The goal of a Constitutionalist insurgency should be to “turn the map red” (anyone with SOF background will know what that means - and no, it does not mean “red with blood”). There is a long history of successful applications of this doctrine, going all the way back to the American Revolution. You don’t have to go toe-to-toe and beat the forces of the deep state to win an insurgency. You only have to make it expensive enough in lives and materiel to maintain control over a region, and eventually they will let that region go its own way.

I’m a pessimist, and I don’t see an outcome that restores the 50 states of the union into something resembling what we want it to be. What I see as far more likely, is the like-minded states banding together into semi-autonomous regions ....for instance, I can see Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana forming such an alliance. These regions would begin to trade more and more within their regional boundaries, and less and less with states outside of that region. At some point, the fedgov’t simply becomes irrelevant to the states in that region. These regions will form mutual defense pacts between the states, and possibly even a new federation in which the independent states recognize a need for a limited and lean system of mutual governance. At some point, these regions are no longer “semi-autonomous”, but FULLY autonomous. Perhaps these regional federations will form trade or defense treaties with other regional federations.

IF that is how it goes, then in the end the current territorial integrity of what we currently know as the United States will ultimately be maintained, but in a far more decentralized fashion, with DC becoming just another irrelevant overpopulated city on a coast - reduced to its proper place of dependence upon the people who feed it, instead of trying to be their king.

They are under the control of the mainstream media and even if they have thrown off the yoke of brainwashing propaganda, they still won't raise a finger the do anything. All of this FBI memo/Trump dossier will be quietly slide aside and something else will be tossed on the table to distract the American public. Nobody will be punished and everything will go back to the elitist normal.

  14. So much defeatist talk. I wonder if the Original Revolutionaries threw the same BS around George Washington's fire pit? Put your Big Girl Panties on, or nut up, and get ready. Yes, we have wandered far from the promised land. Yes, we have "citizens" (I use the word lightly) who willingly depend on others to support their every need. Yes, the country is screwed up by all of the King's Men. Yet......who has made a list of warmongers in your community? Who has decided to know their territory in the night hours, when it is dark and scary? Do you know who goes where at what times? Do you know what they desire and are willing to sacrifice for? Stop bleating like old women, wringing your hands, and lamenting that all is lost!! Get your ass out of the chair, at all hours, and get to know what is going on within 20 miles of your abode. Bet there are some surprises-even for those holding their hands up to be chained. What is the old saying? "Better that we should die on our feet rather than live on our knees".

    1. Bravo. We either need to get busy fixing this mess or burning it down. I don't care which, but this lamenting our woe is ridiculous. I've been criticized for holding onto the republic, but it is one or the other. My patience is running out for living in this collectivist utopia.

    2. More like realistic, pal. So your solution is to "know what is going on within 20 miles of your abode"? To what end? Frankly, I agree each one of us can make the biggest impact locally, but do you REALLY think this notion is going to sweep the nation? Hardly. Also note that even if we were somehow able to invoke the absolute BEST result i.e. a strong liberty-based republic, it would not last. Do you realize our own republic was corrupted from DAY ONE? Our venerated constitution illegally replaced the Articles of Confederation? Did you know the "deep state" existed from DAY ONE? No, it was not in the same form as it is today but even then there were secret underhanded deals and workings too ethically fragile to be made public. I'd say those of us who say it is too late to accomplish anything are the ones really "waking up". My own conclusion is this last political "experiment" has proven beyond any doubt that man cannot govern himself. Just as Israel proved man cannot save himself. Our very nature is flawed - stained by the original sin. The only true and lasting government will be established by God Himself.

    3. Bravo. We either need to get busy fixing this mess or burning it down

How about neither one and instead be making a parallel society based on True Liberty and that way it doesn't matter what happens to the Old Republic we will be free where we are at... Problem is that takes work and a bit of sacrifice so people will have a problem doing that...

  15. The American Colonists debated much as the above comments, and All are valid. But the spark that ended the debate came from the British troops marching on Lexington, a failed and ill conceived attempt, then Concord where more experience and resolve stood and then started the counter attack.
My point is the initiative lies with the Tyrants, and when they become so excessive, following a long train of abuses, there will be a violent reaction by patriots of many persuasions. The debate ends, and war begins.
We do not control the Tyrants or their timetable. We do know they have No control over their satanic evil desires to enslave all of mankind. They will come.
We must be Ready in all respects, and to continue to write and speak to gain new members in the meantime.
The script and play has not differed throughout all of history, it will not be different this time either. It will be horrible to behold and experience, hence the hesitation on our part, and the absolute compulsion on their part to destroy all in their path to total control.
    Be Ready

That was on the assumption that God chooses all leaders, as it states in the Bible, not always for the betterment of mankind, except in the long term.

i do believe YAh chooses our leaders for a reason. The reason for Trump was not to save the republic. That is what many are begining to see?
As far as "Burning it down" goes. i do not see this as a literal job for His followers. His followers part in this is too continue in spreading the Truth therefore revealing the lies and liars. The enemies will turn upon each other and fuel the fire. They are being revealed more and more each day.
We are to have patience and persevere through these days of tribulation.
The Olympic opening and the Theme of "Group above the individual was very revealing. The Borg.
The purple and the scarlet within both the Superbowl and the Olympics was also very telling. The world along with many of us has been led into a trap.
Repentance is the only way out.
The Saturday vs. Sunday war is also a Trap. We can see truths in each camp.

  22. One thing to consider is demographics. The current racist attacks against white American Citizens from other ethnic groups suggest that everyone, including whites, understand that whites are becoming a minority. The aging white American population has lost interest in maintaining a dominant role in the preservation of this nation. A lack of national unity and a "let it burn" mindset will eventually lead to a chaotic downturn. Everything is a business model and a younger population inheriting a Constitutional Republic is not a priority. If you want to see a revolution, ban Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment Benefits, Food Stamps, and other programs that people need to live. The new ruling class will evolve quickly.
